Five Minute Friday - Writer

Go...
I love to write. I have been writing for years. I don't remember the first time. But I have boxes and boxes. Filled with notebook after notebook. Each brimming with words. Proof. I am a writer. Where spoken words fail, I write. Not always eloquent. Messy. Even ugly. I don't often say what I feel. But I write it.
Someone told me recently, I am hard to read. Then followed - Do you journal? How did she know? I didn't know that it was written so clearly across my forehead. She feels on paper. And I do. Writing is a mirror. I can see myself. See my motivations. My secret desires. The things I am not willing to admit aloud. But there it is on paper. Forcing me to see.
I am a writer.

Stop...

    1. Thank you for stopping by. And I am glad to hear I am not the only one who feels on paper. :)

  2. Feeling on paper is such a perfect way to describe us writers, a painful time when I was 18 and journalled still makes me cry now, such feeling in words

    1. It was always the easiest way for me to sort out how I felt. I know it doesn't work for some people. But it certainly worked for me! :) Thanks for visiting!
